We will study the biblical belief that God had ordained a structure of church leadership. As a result, the church grows in purity and strengthens her God-given responsibility to protect Gospel beliefs and behaviours.

QUESTIONS FOR REFLECTION
1. What is your general attitude towards the elders-pastors of your church? Do you recognize them as people who spiritually care for your soul?
2. How often do you pray for God to gift more elders to the church? This should be part of your regular prayer life for the church. The more elders, the more evidence of God’s gifts to the church!
3. What is your general attitude toward the leadership of the church? Do you exhibit humble submission knowing that they are labouring for your spiritual good?
4. Do you think that God may be calling you to serve as an elder in Pillar Bible Church? Do you have the ambition, does the church recognize your godly character and ability to teach? Ask someone.
