Three commands that help us fight for happiness in hard times. In Hard Times Rejoice in the Lord (v. 18) In Hard Times Find Strength in the Lord (v. 19) In Hard Times Sing to the Lord (v. 19)
What does God provide for His people in hopeless situations? Our Rest in Distress (v. 16) Our Joy in Deficiency (v. 17)
How does God’s anger work towards the salvation of His people? God’s Anger and the Nations (v. 12) God’s Anger and Salvation (v. 13a) God’s Anger and Humiliation (v. 13b-14) God’s Anger and Redemption (v. 15)

God displays four truths in His coming 1. God Displays Painful Judgment (v. 5) 2. God Displays a Powerful Presence (v. 6a) 3. God Displays His Permanent Ways (v. 6b) 4. God Displays a Paralyzing Fear (v. 7)
Habakkuk 3:3-4 Pastor Micah Anglo 1. God’s Arrival as a Preservation (v. 3a) 2. God’s Arrival as a Permeation (v. 3b) 3. God’s Arrival as a Presentation (v. 4a) 4. God’s Arrival as a Protection (v. 4b)
In response to God’s words. Habakkuk begins his prayer-song to God while requesting that God would intervene in this troubled season of life. God’s people may pray for God to remember His covenant promises in the midst of turmoil and trust that God will bring salvation to them.
God’s fourth pronouncement of judgement serves as a warning to the depraved manipulator of people. God will bring judgment to those who abuse others and seek to glorify themselves. The Christian finds hope in God’s righteousness and salvation, and desires to serve and to help others in light of the Gospel.
God’s third pronouncement of judgement serves as a lesson for all. A life built on sin and vanity works against its created purpose. But a life built for the glory of God serves its created purpose and will be confirmed in the end when His glory is recognized.
God contrasts the life of the proud person with the life of the righteous. The righteous man’s faith in God functions as an anchor for his life even in the midst of the trials.
